After spending over two decades in the beauty industry, I kept seeing the same problems: dry, damaged nails, tired cuticles and products claiming to be “natural” but packed with questionable ingredients. I knew there had to be a better way... something gentle, clean and truly effective.
That journey took me back to where it all began: my grandfather’s garden. As a child, I spent hours there, hands in the dirt, helping him care for herbs, flowers and vegetables. It was where I first learned the quiet power of plants — the way a simple leaf could soothe, a flower could heal and how tending to something slowly and intentionally could be deeply rewarding.
That early connection to nature stuck with me. Years later, I discovered aromatherapy and was instantly captivated. I found myself drawn to the way essential oils could influence mood, promote balance and support the body in subtle, powerful ways. It felt like everything I’d learned in the garden... only bottled.
When I couldn’t find a clean, effective nail treatment I trusted, I started making my own. What began as a personal fix (an organic, plant based oil for my own brittle nails and dry cuticles) quickly became something more. I shared it with clients, friends, family… and the results spoke for themselves. Healthier nails, softer cuticles and a tiny ritual that brought a little calm into the chaos.
That’s how Oily Olive was born. A brand rooted in nature, backed by experience and created for anyone who wants their beauty routine to feel a little more real — and a lot more nourishing.
